• Contact details: name, email address, phone number, business name, business address, and role.
• Account & billing details: billing contact, billing address, payment method information (processed by our payment processor, not stored on our servers), and purchase history.
• Service-related details: EFIN, PTIN, software preferences, office size, current technology stack, and any other information you share so we can configure or support your services.
• Communications: messages you send us through forms, email, SMS, calls, or chat, and any documents or files you upload for support.

Information we collect automatically

• Device & usage data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited, time spent on pages, and similar diagnostic data.

Information from third parties

We may receive information about you from service providers (such as Drake Software, banking partners, or hosting providers) when you authorize them to share it with us so we can deliver requested services.

We do not share mobile phone numbers or text messaging opt-in data and consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. See Text Messaging (SMS) below.

• Technology partners when needed to deliver the service you requested (for example, Drake Software, Rightworks, bank product providers, or domain and email services). We share only what is required to set up or maintain those services on your behalf.

Our customers are tax offices and tax professionals who, in the course of their own business, handle the personal and financial information of taxpayers ("Customer Data"). When we host, back up, transmit, or support systems that contain Customer Data, we act as a service provider to our customer. We do not use Customer Data for our own purposes and do not disclose Customer Data except as needed to deliver the contracted service or as required by law.

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect, including access controls, encryption in transit, monitoring, and vendor due diligence. We require our personnel and contractors to follow confidentiality and security obligations.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to promptly investigate and respond to incidents that may affect your information.

12.Text Messaging (SMS)

If you opt in to text messages from TaxPro Tech Services, LLC through the chat widget on our website or our appointment booking form, we use your mobile number to send the messages you agreed to receive: non-marketing messages about your inquiry, appointments and support requests, and, only if you separately opted in, marketing messages about offers and service updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other categories of information sharing described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
